Kaduna Government’s Ambitious Housing Plan Takes Shape

In a significant step towards addressing the housing deficit, the Kaduna State Government, led by Governor Uba Sani, pledges to provide 10,000 houses within the next four years. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Alh Rabiu Yunusa, announced this commitment during the 12th Meeting of the National Council on Lands, Housing, and Urban Development. Highlighting ongoing collaboration with a Qatari Charity Foundation for 500 charity houses, Yunusa emphasizes the state’s dedication to closing the housing gap through its Urban Renewal project. The government’s partnership with the Federal Government is seen as a strategic move to enhance housing development, earning commendation for its policy framework.
