Katsina Acting Governor Urges Constructive Dialogue Ahead of Nationwide Protest
Acting Governor Farouk Lawal Jobe of Katsina State has called for calm among residents, especially youths, ahead of a planned nationwide protest. He emphasized the importance of engaging in constructive dialogue with the government to address concerns.
Acknowledging the economic challenges faced by residents, Jobe assured that the state government is actively working to alleviate the situation. He encouraged citizens to focus on productive activities and utilize opportunities provided by the government.
Jobe highlighted initiatives such as the N10 billion MSME Growth Fund, designed to support local businesses with low-interest loans and grants. He urged residents to explore programs offered by the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA) and the newly renovated Katsina Industrial Development Centre.
“Our vibrant youth, hardworking market women, and dedicated union members are crucial to building the Katsina State we desire,” Jobe stated. “Let’s transform frustrations into motivation for positive change and work together for a peaceful, prosperous Katsina.”
