Katsina State: Governor Radda’s Commitment to Education Development
Governor Mallam Umaru Dikko Radda of Katsina State marked the International Day of Education by highlighting the state’s dedication to education. Governor Radda emphasized that education is the topmost priority for progress in Katsina. Key achievements under his leadership include the establishment of model schools for economically disadvantaged students, extensive rehabilitation of schools, robust capacity building for teachers, massive teacher recruitment, revival of scholarship programs, and sponsorship of students for foreign post-graduate studies.
Additionally, Governor Radda has focused on fostering inclusive education, ensuring that even children in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps have access to education.
