Kebbi First Lady Honored for Advocacy Work with Women and Children
Nafisa Idris, the wife of Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has been honored with the traditional title of Zinariyar Marafan Danko in recognition of her advocacy and efforts to improve the lives of women and children in Kebbi State. The title was bestowed upon her by the Danko District Chief, who praised her dedication, generosity, and significant contributions to the welfare of the community.
During the conferment ceremony, the Chief also lauded the Governor for implementing impactful projects benefiting both the villages and the state at large. In her response, Mrs. Idris expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the recognition, stating that the honor serves as further motivation for her to continue her work through her NANAS Foundation, focusing on the betterment of women and children.
Mrs. Idris also thanked the people of Danko for their ongoing support of her husband’s administration, assuring them that the government would continue to roll out policies and programs aimed at improving the livelihoods of the people across Kebbi State.
