Kebbi State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development Successfully Rehabilitates Political Thugs
Kebbi State’s Ministry of Youth and Sports Development reports the successful rehabilitation of 500 youths previously involved in political thuggery and drug addiction. Commissioner Comrade Nura Bala Fingila highlights the ministry’s efforts in providing sports activities, skills acquisition, and sensitization programs to reintegrate the rehabilitated youths into society.
In addition to offering financial support, the ministry has trained another batch of 350 males and 150 females in ICT and other self-sustaining skills to prevent drug abuse and promote productive livelihoods. Fingila also lauds the achievements of Kebbi United FC in Nigeria’s professional league and the success of Kebbi athletes in national and international competitions.
