Kogi State Government Initiates Free JAMB Registration for Students
The Kogi State Government launches a program to register 15,033 students for the 2024 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination, free of charge, in alignment with the recently enacted law providing free examination registration for public school students.
Musa Solomon, the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education, announced the commencement of the registration process, emphasizing the government’s commitment to continuing the educational legacies of the past administration and promoting access to quality education for all.
Students are instructed to collect registration forms from their schools and proceed to designated Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers for registration. For students in areas without CBT centers, special arrangements are made for registration at their respective Local Government Headquarters.
The initiative underscores the government’s dedication to supporting student’s academic pursuits and ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities across the state.
