Kogi State Receives Accolades for Infrastructure Development

The Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) recently conducted a tour of Kogi State to assess the impact of various legacy projects initiated by Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration. Led by the association’s President, Mr. Eze Anaba, the delegation visited key locations to witness firsthand the state’s infrastructural progress.

One notable stop was the GYB Modern Science Secondary Adankolo in Lokoja, where the NGE President expressed admiration for the state-of-the-art facilities provided by the government. He commended Governor Bello for prioritizing education and healthcare infrastructure, essential for the overall development of the state.

The tour also included visits to Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara, where ongoing projects were showcased, and Reference Hospital Okene, constructed to provide quality healthcare services. The Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof. Solomon Avidime, highlighted its state-of-the-art equipment and emphasized its role in catering to the medical needs of residents and attracting medical tourists.

The tour underscored the government’s commitment to promoting education, innovation, and healthcare delivery in Kogi State. Despite economic challenges, Governor Bello’s administration continues to invest in transformative projects aimed at improving the lives of citizens across the state.
