Kwara Assembly Confirms Dr. Abolore as Commissioner
The Kwara House of Assembly confirmed Dr. Afeez Abolore, from Ilorin East Local Government, as a Commissioner in the State Executive Council. Following his screening, Dr. Abolore was approved during the Committee of Whole session. He pledged to work cooperatively with both the executive and legislature to deliver dividends of democracy. Dr. Abolore assured alignment with Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s policy direction and vowed to uphold the confidence reposed in him. Speaker Yakubu Danladi-Salihu directed the Clerk of the House to communicate the confirmation to the governor.
