Kwara Government Highlights Economic Growth Through Infrastructure Investment
Dr. Hauwa Nuru, the Commissioner for Finance in Kwara State, affirmed the state government’s commitment to leveraging infrastructure development for economic prosperity. During an assessment visit by the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation, and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Dr. Nuru emphasized the importance of infrastructure in creating a conducive business environment for investment.
She praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration for prioritizing infrastructure projects aimed at boosting revenue generation, creating employment opportunities, and attracting investments. The Commissioner also commended RMAFC for recognizing the state’s efforts in this regard and pledged continued dedication to completing ongoing projects.
Hajiya Bala, the Team Lead of the RMAFC assessment committee, commended Kwara State’s initiatives in enhancing economic development through revenue-generating projects. She highlighted the significance of infrastructure in improving revenue streams and acknowledged the state’s commitment to sustainable growth.
The assessment visit covered various infrastructural projects, including the Innovation Hub, Kwara Hotel, Revenue House, Garment Factory, Ilorin International Conference Centre (IICC), and Unity Road, demonstrating the state government’s proactive approach to economic advancement.
