Kwara State Gears Up to Host Landmark International Youths Day Celebration

The Kwara State Commissioner for Youths Development, Hon. Shehu Ndanusa Usman, has announced that the state is fully prepared to host a historic International Youths Day celebration. For the first time, the Nigerian Youths Summit will be held outside the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, with Kwara State proudly taking the lead.
During a meeting with the State APC Youth Leader and representatives of the Nigeria Youths Parliament, Hon. Ndanusa highlighted the importance of this year’s theme, “From Clicks to Progress: Youths Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development.” He emphasized that the event will showcase the remarkable contributions of young people in driving digital innovation towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Commissioner expressed Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s unwavering support for youth empowerment, ensuring that young Kwarans have every opportunity to harness their full potential. “The Kwara State Government has laid out comprehensive plans to help youths discover their capabilities, fostering sustainable growth and development,” he stated.
Hon. Ndanusa also noted that the event will honor youths who have made significant achievements in various fields, inspiring others to follow in their footsteps. He assured that the celebration will be a resounding success, with notable personalities present to inspire, train, and educate the youth for a positive, inclusive, and sustainable future.
APC State Youth Leader, Hon. Lawal Sulaiman Duduyemi, echoed the Commissioner’s sentiments, emphasizing that the summit will provide a platform to explore and tap into the boundless potential of Nigerian youths.
