Kwara State’s Vibrant Engagement: VP Kashim Shettima Commends Governor AbdulRazaq’s Leadership
Kwara State Governor and Nigeria Governors’ Forum Chairman, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, welcomed Vice President Kashim Shettima to Ilorin, marking a momentous occasion accompanied by APC leaders and the state’s populace.
Vice President Shettima’s visit included the commissioning of Al-Hikmah University’s Nursing Science Complex, and delivering the institution’s 13th convocation lecture focused on addressing Nigeria’s food security challenges through technology-driven approaches.
In his lecture, Vice President Shettima highlighted Nigeria’s agricultural challenges and the critical role of modern technology and research in enhancing food security. Commending Governor AbdulRazaq’s prudent leadership, he acknowledged the administration’s commendable agricultural initiatives aimed at boosting food production in the state.
Shettima also commended Ilorin’s cultural diversity and called for unity and support among its indigenes, emphasizing the lessons Nigeria could learn from the city’s spirit of tolerance and harmony.
