Lagos First Lady Advances Renewed Hope Initiative in Agriculture

In a move that highlights Lagos State’s dedication to agricultural innovation and sustainability, the First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, coordinated the successful selection of participants for the “Every Home A Garden” competition, part of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) led by the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON.

Over 1,000 applicants from across Lagos State vied for a place in this transformative competition, which aims to inspire urban gardening and sustainable agricultural practices at the household level. The event, held at Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, was a vibrant affair, where participants were chosen through a raffle draw, marking the beginning of their journey in the competition.

Dr. (Mrs.) Sanwo-Olu expressed her deep gratitude to Senator Tinubu for her visionary leadership in launching the Renewed Hope Initiative, which is already making a significant impact nationwide. She also extended her best wishes to all participants as they embark on this exciting and meaningful challenge.

The First Lady further appreciated the presence of esteemed guests, school pupils, students, parents, and teachers who contributed to the success of the raffle event.
