Lagos First Lady Advances Renewed Hope Initiative in Agriculture
In a move that highlights Lagos State’s dedication to agricultural innovation and sustainability, the First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, coordinated the successful selection of participants for the “Every Home A Garden” competition, part of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) led by the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON.
Over 1,000 applicants from across Lagos State vied for a place in this transformative competition, which aims to inspire urban gardening and sustainable agricultural practices at the household level. The event, held at Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, was a vibrant affair, where participants were chosen through a raffle draw, marking the beginning of their journey in the competition.
Dr. (Mrs.) Sanwo-Olu expressed her deep gratitude to Senator Tinubu for her visionary leadership in launching the Renewed Hope Initiative, which is already making a significant impact nationwide.
