Lagos Free Zone: A Magnet for US Investments, Says Consul General
William Stevens, the United States Consul General in Nigeria, praised the Lagos Free Zone for its infrastructure and array of incentives, including integration with the Lekki Deep Sea Port. Stevens, during a tour of the free zone, expressed satisfaction with the facilities and applauded the strong business relationship between Tolaram and US companies.
He highlighted the opportunities the Lagos Free Zone presents, noting that US investors have leveraged these prospects to introduce high-quality goods and services to Nigeria.
Stevens emphasized that increased investments from US companies would not only strengthen economic ties between Nigeria and the USA but also underscored the unique incentives offered by the Lagos Free Zone, enticing US companies to establish a robust presence in the Nigerian market.
Dinesh Rathi, the CEO of Lagos Free Zone, affirmed the zone’s status as a preferred investment destination, boasting world-class infrastructure and attractive incentives for potential investors.
