Lagos Local Government Service Commission Organizes Retreat to Enhance Governance Collaboration
The Lagos State Local Government Service Commission conducts a one-day retreat for principal officers and stakeholders in local government administration across the 57 LGAs and LCDAs. The retreat, held at LCCI, Ikeja, seeks to foster a cordial working relationship among key players at the local government level.
Under the theme “Organisational Behaviour in the Public Sector: Ethical Governance and Brand Carriage in Administration,” the Chairman of the Commission, Hon. Kamal Bayewu, emphasizes the importance of upholding ethical standards in governance. The retreat aims to identify factors hindering effective governance at the grassroots and encourages collaboration for the overall development and progress of Lagos State.
This initiative reflects Governor Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to capacity development and inclusiveness in local government administration. Participants, including Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, Council Managers, and other officials, gather to contribute to the THEMES PLUS agenda of the present administration.
