Organized by Modo Ante, a governance, public sector, and political consultancy firm, the summit aims to bring together business leaders, industry experts, and government officials to discuss innovative strategies for increasing the state’s internally generated revenue (IGR). Joko Okupe, CEO of Modo Ante, described the summit as a bold initiative designed to unlock new revenue streams that will accelerate socio-economic development and ensure prosperity for Lagosians. By leveraging technology and innovation, the summit seeks to identify untapped revenue potentials within various sectors, with a focus on enhancing income streams from existing government entities and creating new revenue opportunities. The summit will prioritize sectors such as Property, Digital Economy, Informal Sector, Energy, and Circular Economy, with the Energy Sector serving as a critical support pillar. Participants will engage in discussions to better understand the current revenue landscape, identify challenges and opportunities, and inspire out-of-the-box thinking to drive sustainable economic growth. The summit also offers a platform for innovators to pitch ideas capable of generating new revenue for the state, providing sponsors and partners with enhanced visibility, networking opportunities, and the chance to collaborate closely with the Lagos State Government in driving economic transformation.
