Lagos State Government Announces Total Closure of Third Mainland Bridge
The Lagos State Government has announced the planned total closure of the Third Mainland Bridge by the Federal Ministry of Works to facilitate crucial repair works.
The closure, scheduled from 12 noon on Wednesday, 28th February, to 12 noon on Thursday, 29th February 2024, will affect both carriageways. Road users are advised to use alternative routes during this period.
Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, assured the public of efforts to minimize inconvenience through effective traffic management. The closure is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve critical infrastructure in Lagos.
