Lagos State Government Boosts Digital Literacy with UK Partnership
In a significant move towards enhancing digital literacy, the Lagos State Government has collaborated with UK Aid, the Foreign Commonwealth Development Office, and Tech4Dev to provide training for 3,000 public servants. This initiative, endorsed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, aims to empower the state’s workforce with essential digital skills, reinforcing the commitment to excellence and contributing to the state’s overall development.
Commissioner Afolabi Ayantayo, during the training’s launch, emphasized the government’s dedication to ensuring that civil servants are well-equipped to navigate the evolving digital landscape. The program, scheduled from Thursday to February 14, 2024, is anticipated to boost productivity and enhance service delivery across various government ministries, departments, and agencies.
