Lagos State Governor Sanwo-Olu Pledges Increased Investment in Quality Education
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu reiterated his commitment to boosting quality education in Lagos State. The state government is collaborating with TeachForNigeria to establish a sustainable five-year program called TeachForLagos. Governor Sanwo-Olu praised the initiative, and during an event marking the International Day of Education, he highlighted the recruitment of 275 fellows through TeachForNigeria since 2020. The Fellows contribute to the state’s educational landscape by teaching in various schools. The governor expressed the government’s dedication to providing more investment, funding, and infrastructure to enhance education in the state.
