LASTMA Cracks Down on Unauthorized Use of Uniform in Skits and Films
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has issued a stern warning against the unauthorized use of its uniform or affiliated gear by skit or filmmakers. General Manager Mr. Olalekan Bakare-Oki emphasized that using LASTMA attire without proper authorization is a criminal offense under Section 79 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015. He urged filmmakers to obtain permits before portraying LASTMA officers in their productions to avoid legal consequences.
