LASTMA’s Revolutionary Call-Up Centre Ushers in Era of Enhanced Service

In a bid to revolutionize service delivery and bolster public trust, the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) is poised to inaugurate a groundbreaking call-up center. Spearheaded by Hon. Sola Giwa, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Transport, this initiative aims to provide timely assistance, facilitate seamless communication, and ensure accountability on Lagos roads.

Hon. Giwa emphasized the center’s pivotal role in promoting professionalism among agency personnel, fostering community engagement, and enhancing road safety. With over 10 dedicated responders and specialized phone lines, the center is poised to address traffic management issues and swiftly respond to emergencies.

Acknowledging the importance of inclusivity, the Special Adviser affirmed that communication in pidgin, Yoruba, and English will be facilitated, catering to the diverse linguistic needs of residents. He underscored the agency’s commitment to prioritizing feedback, encouraging the public to report incidents and commend exemplary conduct.

In alignment with its ethos of stakeholder engagement, LASTMA will continue to collaborate with Community Development Associations and transportation sector representatives, fostering a culture of partnership in improving traffic management. With recent training initiatives and a renewed focus on empathy and humility, the agency remains steadfast in its mission to ensure the smooth flow of goods and services on Lagos roads, safeguarding the well-being of all road users.
