LASURA Initiates Temporary Relocation for Office Compound Redevelopment
The Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency (LASURA) is set to relocate temporarily to facilitate the construction of a state-of-the-art office complex. General Manager Tpl. Ajibike Shomade announced this during a visit by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Oluyinka Olumide.
The redevelopment of LASURA’s compound into a 13-floor twin-tower edifice aligns with its mission to lead urban renewal efforts and shape the future landscape. The agency will operate from a temporary office at Work Yard Road, PWD, Ikeja GRA, ensuring continuity during construction.
Dr. Oluyinka Olumide commended the initiative and urged the agency to provide a time-bound action plan for seamless project execution. The redevelopment project underscores Lagos State’s commitment to modernizing infrastructure and fostering sustainable urban development.
