Lucky Aiyedatiwa Assumes Role as Acting Governor In Ondo State
Acting Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has returned to Ondo State, following his recent meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The Ondo State House of Assembly officially declared Aiyedatiwa as the acting governor after receiving a letter from Governor Rotimi Akeredolu regarding his medical leave. Speaker Olamide Oladiji confirmed the receipt of the awaited letter in Akure, stating that Governor Akeredolu had forwarded the necessary medical leave documents to the State House of Assembly.
Aiyedatiwa, who engaged with the President and other stakeholders concerning the political situation in Ondo State, has resumed his duties as the acting governor. His return to the state was marked by his arrival at Akure Airport, where he was received by Ifedayo Abegunde, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Director of Corporate Affairs at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
