Massive Political Shift in Ebonyi as Thousands Join APC, Praise Governor’s Leadership
In a significant political realignment, over 5,000 members from APGA, PDP, and LP in Umuezeoka Community, Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, have defected to the APC, signaling growing support for Governor Francis Nwifuru’s administration.
Led by former PDP campaign council director Dr. Okulegu Bethran Enyim, the defectors cited Governor Nwifuru’s compassionate governance and transformative initiatives as reasons for their switch.
Acknowledging the governor’s efforts in clearing pension arrears, providing business grants, and supporting law school students, Enyim called for unity among political parties and urged Ebonyians to rally behind the governor’s vision for a better state.
The defectors were warmly received by APC leaders, reaffirming the party’s commitment to inclusivity and Governor Nwifuru’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of all Ebonyi citizens.
