Nasarawa State Celebrates Democratic Values
Yakubu Lamai, the Director General of Strategic Communication & Events Management in Government House Lafia, praised the organizers of the ‘FACE OF DEMOCRACY’ Beauty Pageant for transcending the typical glamour of such events to spotlight the values of true democratic principles. The pageant, in alignment with Governor Abdullahi A. Sule’s vision, aimed to promote political tolerance, forgiveness, reconciliation, and peace in Nasarawa State.
During an interaction with Samuel Alkali and the aspiring contestants of the ‘FACE OF DEMOCRACY’ pageant at Government House, Lamai commended the youth for raising their voices and encouraging political actors to embrace peace, restraint, and accommodation. In a gesture of mutual appreciation, the ‘FACE OF DEMOCRACY’ team presented Lamai with their branded T-shirt, while Lamai reciprocated by gifting each member a premium CHRONICLES T-SHIRT.
This symbolic T-shirt swap event signified a moment of unity and collaboration, showcasing the fusion between the ‘FACE OF DEMOCRACY’ initiative and the ‘CHRONICLES OF ENGR. ABDULLAHI A. SULE’.
