Nasarawa State Government Advances Housing Initiative with Land Allocation for Renewed Hope Cities and Estates Projects
The Nasarawa State Government has allocated a 24.62-hectare parcel of land for the Renewed Hope Cities and Estates Projects, signaling the imminent commencement of construction activities following the issuance of the Approval of Grant and Certificate of Occupancy.
During a courtesy visit to the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Architect Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, Governor Abdullahi Sule reaffirmed the state’s commitment to supporting the ministry’s efforts in providing affordable housing solutions for Nigerians.
Expressing gratitude for the allocation, Dangiwa commended the governor for his responsiveness to the ministry’s land request, which aims to enhance housing affordability nationwide. He assured that construction contractors for the Renewed Hope Cities’ project in Nasarawa State will mobilize to the site shortly, emphasizing the ministry’s dedication to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for Housing and Urban Development.
Highlighting the program’s scope, Dangiwa outlined plans to establish Renewed Hope Cities and Estates across Nigeria, with Nasarawa State being a beneficiary under Phase 1. He urged Governor Sule to encourage active participation in the Land Reforms Task Team, emphasizing the critical role of governors in streamlining land administration nationwide.
In response, Governor Sule expressed gratitude for Nasarawa State’s inclusion in the initiative’s first phase and commended the minister for his transformative efforts in the housing sector. He presented the land documents personally, underscoring the state’s enthusiasm for participating in the program and its commitment to advancing housing development in collaboration with the federal government.
