Danladi Jatau, the newly elected Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA), has expressed his commitment to working collaboratively with the executive arm of the government. Jatau emphasized his dedication to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Nasarawa State.
Representing the Kokona West Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Jatau made this pledge after his election and subsequent swearing-in. He extended gratitude to his colleagues for their trust in him and assured an open-door policy to foster a sense of inclusivity among all members.
Jatau highlighted his goal to promote unity within the House and across other branches of government, aiming for the overall development of the state. His pledge follows the recent removal of the former Speaker, Ibrahim Abdullahi Balarabe, representing Ugya/Umaisha Constituency, by the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
