Nasarawa State University Appoints New Vice-Chancellor

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State approved the appointment of Prof. Sa’adatu Liman as the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi. This decision, effective from April 15, 2024, followed the recommendation of the university’s governing Council.

Prof. Liman, a distinguished scholar in Islamic Studies and former Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the institution, succeeded Prof. Suleiman Bala-Mohammed, whose tenure concluded on April 2. With her extensive academic and administrative experience within the university, including roles such as Assistant Dean and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Liman is well-positioned to lead the university towards optimal performance and advancement.

Her academic achievements, including a Bachelor of Arts degree in Islamic Studies and various fellowships and awards, attest to her dedication and expertise in the field.
