Niger Restates Commitment to Policies that Enhance People’s Growth
The Niger State Government has reaffirmed its dedication to implementing policies and programs aimed at improving the living conditions of its citizens. Acting Governor Yakubu Garba, in a recent broadcast, assured the people of the state’s commitment to their welfare. He highlighted ongoing initiatives, such as the sale of grains at a 50% discount across all 25 local government areas, as part of the administration’s efforts to support the populace.
Garba emphasized that more initiatives would soon be introduced to directly benefit the people, promising impactful outcomes. He also expressed gratitude to the citizens for their restraint during the recently concluded #Endbadgovernanceprotest, noting that their decision to avoid participation has helped maintain peace in the state.
He praised the stakeholders and residents for their commitment to unity, mutual respect, and constructive dialogue, which he said are essential to the state’s progress. Garba reassured the people that the Niger State Government is eager to convey their concerns and aspirations to the President of Nigeria, urging continued understanding and faith in the administration.
