Niger State’s Collaborative Venture with Greenville: Paving the Way for Cleaner Transportation and Education Support
Niger State proudly solidified its partnership with Greenville LNG Limited to establish two revolutionary Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) plants in Minna and Suleja. The State’s Commissioner of the Ministry of Lands and Survey, Barrister Maurice Bello Magaji, shared this exciting news during an interactive session held in Minna. These CNG plants are primed to power the recently procured 200 CNG buses, heralding an eco-friendly era in transportation. Magaji’s site visit with Greenville LNG Limited marked the groundwork for constructing the CNG depots in Minna and Suleja, spanning a substantial 8.7 hectares. These hubs are set to become a central point for CNG distribution in North Central Nigeria, serving both state utilization and the broader public.
Furthermore, the buses will operate as free transportation services, particularly benefiting students across all education levels, from primary to tertiary institutions. This remarkable stride not only advances sustainable transport but also supports educational accessibility and environmental consciousness.
