True to his moniker as the “Farmer Governor,” Muhammad Umar Bago of Niger State demonstrates his commitment to community welfare with a groundbreaking Ramadan feeding initiative. Allocating a staggering sum of 976 million naira, the state government plans to provide sustenance to Nigerlites across the Eight Emirates, spanning 274 wards.
Under the supervision of Hon. Binta Mamman, the State Commissioner of Information and Strategy, feeding centers will be established across the emirates to ensure widespread coverage. The comprehensive plan includes detailed expenditure breakdowns for each zone, highlighting the governor’s meticulous approach to inclusive governance.
