NIOB Urges Governors to Follow Ebonyi’s Example for Systemic Growth
The Nigerian
Institute of Building (NIOB) has praised Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru
for his legislative efforts to promote orderly infrastructure development. At
the 54th Builders’ Conference in Awka, NIOB President Alderton Ewa Ewa
highlighted three key laws approved by Governor Nwifuru—the Physical Planning
Permit Regulations Law, the Urban and Regional Planning and Development Law,
and the Building Control Regulation Law. These legislations, according to NIOB,
set a standard for other states to follow in ensuring systematic growth and
effective building control. The conference underscores the importance of
strategic legislation and professional building practices in driving national
development.
