Ogun State Enhances Emergency Medical Response Services
The Ogun State Ministry of Health collaborates with the National Emergency Medical Service and Ambulance System (NEMSAS) to strengthen the state’s emergency medical response services. By integrating Ogun’s Emergency Medical Service and Ambulance System into NEMSAS, the state seeks to achieve quicker emergency responses and adhere to international standards of critical care within the first 48 hours. This initiative, funded by NEMSAS through the Ogun State Health Insurance Agency (OGSHIA), underscores Governor Dapo Abiodun’s commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure and services.
