Ogun State Government Announces First Batch of Non-Statutory Board Appointments

The Ogun State Government, under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun, has unveiled the first batch of non-statutory board appointments. This announcement, made on Thursday by the Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, marks the beginning of a series of upcoming appointments designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of state agencies.

The newly appointed board members will serve in various key positions, including the Ogun Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA), Ogun State Agricultural and Multipurpose Credit Agency (OSAMCA), Plantgate Limited, and the Ogun State Alternative Medicine Board (OGAMB). These appointments aim to drive positive change and innovation in their respective areas.

For OGWAMA, Hon. Ajibola Kaka will lead as chairman, supported by members such as Prince Salako Olalekan and Mr. Iroko Ganiu, among others. The OSAMCA board will be chaired by Sodeinde Kunle, with a diverse team including Olaonipekun Tajudeen A. and Mrs. Bello Iyabo. Plantgate Limited’s board will be led by Engr. Mukaila Olugbuyi Bello, with Hon. Nuberu Adesanya Olufemi and Adeleye Jimo Pelumi joining him.

The OGAMB board will be chaired by Nurudeen Olaleye Alawoerin and will include prominent members such as Chief Mrs. Tuke Omotara and Prof. Cyril Gbolagade Omisande. The statement encourages the new appointees to work diligently, demonstrating the confidence placed in them by the Ogun State Government and significantly contributing to the progress of their respective agencies.
