Ogun State Governor Launches Essential Food Distribution Program Amid Economic Challenges

In response to the prevailing economic challenges, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has initiated a program to distribute essential food items to the citizens. The program aims to provide rice, garri, and beans to support vulnerable members of society while ensuring fair distribution. Governor Abiodun announced that nearly 100 trailers of rice would be delivered, with priority given to the elderly and vulnerable, who will receive the rice free of charge. Other citizens will have the opportunity to purchase essential food items at pre-inflation prices, demonstrating the government’s commitment to easing the burden on the population during challenging times.
