Ogun State Plans State Burial for Late Philanthropist Alaba Lawson
Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has announced the state’s intention to establish a committee for organizing a dignified burial for the late Iyalode of Yorubaland, Chief (Mrs) Alaba Lawson, who passed away at the age of 72. Governor Abiodun described the late Lawson as a passionate and selfless advocate for women’s rights. He commended her dedication and announced the government’s commitment to support her family during this difficult time.
The late Lawson was also honored by former governor Ibikunle Amosun for her courageous and impactful life.
