Ondo State Initiates Teacher Recruitment Drive for Rural Areas

In a significant move to address educational staffing needs, the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (ODSUBEB) announces the commencement of teacher recruitment for public primary schools in rural areas. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing the quality of education across the state.

 

Scheduled to begin this week, the recruitment drive targets qualified teachers to serve in underserved rural communities. Prospective applicants are encouraged to utilize the official recruitment portal for submission of applications.

 

The recruitment process, spanning five days, will prioritize localized needs assessments to ensure strategic deployment of educators. Executive Chairman of ODSUBEB, Victor Olabimtan, emphasizes the importance of retaining indigenous teachers in their respective communities to foster a sense of ownership and continuity.
