Partnership Between Borno State and Green Advocacy Organization
The Borno State Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Prof. Usman Tar, received a delegation from Green Advocacy for Conflict Prevention and Resilience Building (GACRB)-West Africa. The executive director of GACRB, Prof. Mala Mustapha, outlined the organization’s objectives, including conflict prevention, peace-building processes, and capacity-building initiatives. Prof. Mustapha expressed interest in partnering with the ministry in areas such as transitional justice and supporting reconciliation and reintegration projects. In response, Prof. Tar welcomed the partnership and highlighted the ministry’s focus areas for collaboration, including transitional justice, strategic communication, and sustainable livelihood initiatives.
