Publisher Applauds Governor Ododo for Establishing Modern Media Centre

Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo’s administration has been lauded for the establishment of a modern media center within the Kogi State Government House. The commendation came from Mr. Abu Michael, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of The Nigerian Post Newspaper, following a tour of the new facilities.

Mr. Abu praised the media center for its advanced capabilities that will enhance real-time communication of government activities to the public. He described the initiative as a groundbreaking achievement for Governor Ododo’s administration, marking a significant milestone in the state’s media engagement.

The upcoming 2024 Nigerian Post Newspaper Annual Public Lecture, themed “Sustaining Kogi’s Unbroken Unity – Prospects & Possibilities, This House Must Not Fall,” will celebrate the 33rd anniversary of Kogi State’s creation. Mr. Abu highlighted the governor’s commitment to workers, pensioners, and his emphasis on youth and women empowerment, noting the administration’s positive reception among the populace.

Special Adviser on Media, Hon. Ismaila Isah, echoed Mr. Abu’s sentiments, emphasizing that the media center reflects Governor Ododo’s respect for the media and his administration’s dedication to transparency and accessibility. The center is set to open soon, providing media professionals with enhanced internet access for real-time reporting.
