RCCG Stands in Solidarity with Ekiti State Amid Tragic Incidents
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) expressed solidarity with the Government and people of Ekiti State following recent tragic incidents, including the killing of two traditional rulers and the abduction of school pupils. A delegation led by Pastor Tunde Abdullahi, representing RCCG Region 25, delivered a condolence message to the Governor’s office in Ado-Ekiti.
In a letter signed by the Continental Overseer, RCCG Continent 3, the church condemned the violence and reiterated its commitment to supporting the state through prayers. Governor Oyebanji commended RCCG for its unwavering support and urged religious leaders to unite in prayer for national security.
Acknowledging the need for enhanced security measures, Governor Oyebanji called on citizens to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities promptly. He assured the delegation of the government’s commitment to protecting lives and property in Ekiti State.
