Rev. Eyoanwan Otu Girls in STEM Reunion Boot Camp Set to Begin!
Rev. (Mrs.) Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, the wife of the Governor of Cross River State, is set to launch the 2024 Girls in STEM Reunion Boot Camp. This initiative aims to further develop the skills of girls who have previously shown interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Having already equipped over 3,000 girls across the state’s senatorial districts, this boot camp will refresh and advance their knowledge, opening doors to new opportunities in STEM fields. Outstanding participants with exceptional SSCE results and a passion for pursuing STEM careers will be eligible for university scholarships. Parents are encouraged to enroll their daughters in this transformative three-week program, which will rotate across the state’s senatorial districts, fostering the next generation of female leaders in STEM and helping bridge the gender gap in technology and science.
