Rev. Mrs. Eyoanwan Itam Bassey Otu, the Wife of the Governor of Cross River State, has unveiled the newly renovated Sickbay, Kitchen, and Administrative Block at the Afokang Correctional Centre, marking a significant milestone in the improvement of correctional facilities. The event saw Governor Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu in attendance, acknowledging the positive impact of these enhancements on the facility and its inmates. The Sickbay, in particular, will provide comprehensive healthcare services to inmates, ensuring their physical and mental well-being. Rev. Otu expressed her satisfaction with the project’s completion and praised the commitment of all stakeholders involved.
