Sanwo-Olu: Emphasis on Law Enforcement and Key Projects in 2024
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has pledged a strong focus on enforcing laws and regulations in 2024 to safeguard lives and property in the state.
During the annual Lagos State Thanksgiving Service, Sanwo-Olu stressed the importance of adhering to the rule of law for societal progress. He assured prioritization of major project implementations aligned with his administration’s development agenda for the year.
Sanwo-Olu urged Lagosians to respect and obey laws, emphasizing responsibilities such as tax payment, traffic regulations adherence, responsible waste disposal, and reporting lawbreakers. He assured government efforts to facilitate compliance, particularly through transport reforms and Emergency Hotlines for reporting.
The Governor announced plans to sign the 2024 Lagos budget into law, considering it a significant step in fulfilling promises made to Lagosians. He highlighted the anticipation of an impactful year, the first full year of his second term in office, guided by the T.H.E.M.E.S+ development agenda.
