Transformative Partnership: Kwara State and IDB Launch $57.3m Agro-Industrial Project
Kwara State and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) have collaborated on a groundbreaking $57.3 million Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) project. The initiative aims to enhance food and nutritional security, promote agro-processing, and create sustainable farming practices, particularly benefiting youth and women in rural agricultural communities. Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq highlighted the project’s potential to impact the economy and improve livelihoods, emphasizing its alignment with national and state development goals. The recently inaugurated steering committee is set to guide the strategic direction and policy implementation of this transformative project.
