UNICROSS Alumni Extend Support to Varsity Staff: More Assistance on the Horizon

In a heartwarming gesture, the University of Cross River State (Unicross) Alumni Association generously donated fifty bags of rice (10kg) to former students working at the institution. Dr. Inyali Peter, the National President, highlighted the Association’s commitment to alleviate the harsh economic conditions faced by staff members during the festive period. Expressing gratitude for Governor Bassey Otu’s past support, Dr. Peter appealed for an increase in the government’s monthly subvention to the University, citing the institution’s growth and expanded staff strength. The Association emphasized their dedication to supporting both the alma mater and members in need, showcasing the true essence of an alumni association.
