Why Nasarawa Will Not Join Any Protest – Governor Sule

Governor Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa State has firmly stated that the state has no reason to participate in any protests due to the substantial benefits and interventions provided by both his administration and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government. This statement was made during the commissioning of the 23km Kokona-Agwada Road, valued at N3.2 billion.

Governor Sule emphasized the administration’s commitment to improving citizens’ welfare, including the implementation of the new minimum wage and payment of arrears. He highlighted ongoing efforts to support agriculture, employment, and reduce hardships through various palliatives. The governor also noted the positive international interest in Nasarawa State, underscoring that the state’s selection for the Green City project is a testament to its progress.

Further, Governor Sule announced plans for additional infrastructure projects, including the Kurmin Shinkafa-Amba-Angoro-Bassa Road and the Agwada-Udege Road. He also commissioned the 4.5km Gudi Township Road network and the Gudi Travelers Market, aimed at reducing roadside hawking by children.

Senator Umaru Tanko Al-makura, who attended the event, urged citizens to support President Tinubu’s administration and embrace peace. He praised Governor Sule for his strategic projects that benefit the local communities. Senator Abdullahi Adamu, represented by Professor Bala Abdullahi, commended the governor for the road construction and educational support for state indigenes.

Overall, Governor Sule’s efforts and the new developments underscore his administration’s dedication to enhancing infrastructure and public welfare in Nasarawa State.
