LASDRI Urges Motorists to Embrace Safety During Festive Season
As the festive season approaches, the General Manager of the Lagos State Driver’s Institute (LASDRI), Mrs. Tiamiyu Afusat, has called on motorists to prioritize safety and exercise tolerance on the roads.
In her Christmas and New Year message, Mrs. Tiamiyu highlighted the dangers of overspeeding and reckless driving during the yuletide season, which often leads to increased road accidents. She advised motorists to ensure their vehicles are in good condition, avoid dangerous driving, and plan their journeys to avoid rushing.
“Road safety is a shared responsibility,” she stated, commending stakeholders and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for their continuous support in ensuring safer roads. Mrs. Tiamiyu reaffirmed LASDRI’s commitment to promoting road safety and reducing traffic-related fatalities.
