LASG ORGANISES WORKSHOP ON PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
The Lagos State Government has launched a two-day workshop on “Managing People for Strategic Advantage in the Public Service” aimed at enhancing personnel management within the public service sector. The event, which is taking place at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alausa, has attracted 100 participants from various levels of government. Mrs. Olubusola Abidakun, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Establishments and Training, emphasized that effective people management is critical for achieving the state’s goal of transforming Lagos into a Smart City. She urged the participants to leverage the workshop as an opportunity for professional growth, focusing on leadership, motivation, and strategic workforce planning. Abidakun also commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his commitment to human capital development and for providing the necessary resources to make the program a success.
