Governor Namadi Reaffirms Unwavering Commitment to Workers’ Welfare in Jigawa

In a stirring and visionary Workers’ Day address that resonated deeply across the state, Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and dignity of the state’s workers, describing them as “the lifeblood of governance and the engine room of public service.”
Speaking before a vibrant gathering of civil servants and Labour leaders, Governor Namadi extolled the contributions of Jigawa’s workforce and paid glowing tribute to the peaceful and cooperative disposition of the state’s labour unions. “I must specially commend the maturity, patriotism, and understanding consistently demonstrated by labour leaders in Jigawa State. Your support and partnership remain a cornerstone of our administration’s stability and progress,” the Governor declared.
In a tone marked by humility and resolute determination, Governor Namadi restated his promise to continue paying attention to the needs and wellbeing of workers, recalling the administration’s prompt payment of salaries and pensions, the implementation of wage awards, and the regular promotion of workers. “We believe that our workers deserve more than promises; they deserve action, fairness, and respect. We shall continue to prioritise your welfare in our policies and decisions,” he said, assuring the workers of sustained support now and in the years to come.
