Significant Progress on Laderin–Wole Soyinka Train Station Road Asphalting Under Governor Dapo Abiodun’s Leadership

The Ogun State Government, under the visionary leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun, has made impressive strides in the asphalting of the Laderin–Wole Soyinka Train Station Road in Abeokuta, with the project nearing completion ahead of schedule. The completion of this road is poised to significantly enhance accessibility to the Wole Soyinka Train Station and improve the mobility of residents in the area.

During a recent inspection visit, Engr. Ade Akinsanya, the Ogun State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, expressed his satisfaction with the high-quality work being carried out on the project. He commended the effort as part of Governor Abiodun’s commitment to infrastructure renewal and urban development across Ogun State. “This project is a testament to Governor Abiodun’s unwavering dedication to improving our state’s infrastructure,” said Engr. Akinsanya. “The road will enhance access to important public facilities, benefiting both residents and commuters.”

The Project Site Engineer, Engr. Peter Aregbesola, also shared his confidence in the steady progress of the asphalting work, particularly along the Laderin–Immigration corridor. He highlighted that asphalting operations are progressing smoothly and are expected to be completed within days, keeping in line with the set timeline.

This road project is part of the broader strategy by the Ogun State Government to modernize the transportation network, ensuring improved connectivity and ease of movement across critical public infrastructure in the state. Governor Abiodun’s focus on infrastructure development continues to yield positive results for Ogun State.
