GOVERNOR DAPO ABIODUN PAYS FINAL RESPECTS TO LATE MADAM FLORENCE ADEWUNMI OJUROYE (NÉE SODIMU-DAWODU)

Governor Dapo Abiodun today joined family, friends, and associates in paying heartfelt tributes to the late Madam Florence Adewunmi Ojuroye (née Sodimu-Dawodu), the beloved mother of Mr. Ayo Ojuroye, Managing Director of Bet9ja, who passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on December 17, 2024.
Madam Ojuroye, born on August 9, 1939, in Sagamu, lived a life marked by grace, compassion, and deep devotion to her family. She embodied humility and resilience, leaving a lasting legacy of integrity and love. Her contributions to her community were immeasurable, and the values she imparted to her children and loved ones will continue to inspire future generations.
As Governor Abiodun paid his final respects, he reflected on the profound impact of Madam Ojuroye’s life. Her devotion to family, service, and community embodied ideals that have enriched many lives. Her passing represents a great loss, not only to the Ojuroye family but also to the broader Ogun State community.
